NBA Terminal is a professional-grade sports betting dashboard built for serious bettors. It combines a predictive player-prop model, real-time odds data, bet tracking, and performance analytics into a single interface.

The goal is simple: find edges, log bets, and track your results so you can improve over time. Whether you're brand new to sports betting or a seasoned handicapper, this tool gives you everything in one place.

Step 1 — Find the Edge

Use Prop Builder, Best Bets, or EV Finder to identify profitable plays the model likes.

Step 2 — Log the Bet

Hit LOG NEW BET in the sidebar to record your stake, odds, and sportsbook.

Step 3 — Review & Improve

Check Analytics, Accuracy, and Calibration pages to see what's working and where to improve.

construction Prop Builder — Build Custom Player Props

The Prop Builder lets you research any player and build a prop bet from scratch using the model's projections.

1.Search for a player in the search bar or browse by today's games.
2.Select a stat category (Points, Rebounds, Assists, 3-Pointers, etc.).
3.The model shows its projection, the sportsbook line, and the calculated edge %.
4.If the edge is positive, click Add to Slip to add it to your parlay bet slip.

💡 Pro Tip

Edge % above 5% is generally considered a meaningful edge. The model tags plays as edge+ when it finds strong value vs. the posted line.

workspace_premium Best Bets — Model's Top Picks

Best Bets is your shortcut — it surfaces the model's highest-confidence plays for the day, pre-ranked by edge.

→Rows highlighted in green glow have edge above your Min Edge threshold (set in Settings).
→Filter by confidence tier: All / High / Medium / Low.
→Click any row to expand the full model analysis — matchup context, recent form, and reasoning.
→Hit the + slip icon to add directly to your bet slip.

trending_up EV Finder — Expected Value Scanner

EV (Expected Value) is the mathematical edge a bet has over the sportsbook. A positive EV bet is profitable in the long run even if it doesn't win every time.

EV% = (Win Probability × Profit) − (Loss Probability × Stake)

→The EV page scans all available player props and ranks them by expected value.
→Green rows = positive EV (the bet is in your favor). Red = negative EV.
→The Best Odds column highlights which book has the best line for each prop.

→Active live bets appear as cards showing the player, your line, current stat, and a progress bar toward the target.

→CLV tracking — did you beat the closing line? Consistent CLV+ is the strongest predictor of long-term profitability.

monitor_heart Model Health — Accuracy, Calibration & Brain

Accuracy Page

Tracks how often the model's predictions are correct, broken down by market type, confidence tier, and time period. A well-performing model should be above 52–53% on standard -110 markets to be profitable.

Calibration Page

Shows whether the model's confidence matches reality. If the model says a prop has a 70% chance of hitting, it should hit ~70% of the time. The calibration curve and player bias table help identify systematic over/under-projection.

Brain Page

Configure the model's core parameters: Kelly fraction, max bet %, minimum EV threshold, and bankroll. Toggle features like sharp money signals, injury adjustments, and pace modeling on or off. Changes here affect every projection the model makes.

→Bankroll — set your starting bankroll and default bet size. These autofill the log modal and drive bet-sizing recommendations.
→Display — choose your preferred odds format (American / Decimal / Fractional) and the minimum edge % that triggers a green highlight on Best Bets.
→Data Sources — toggle auto-loading of FanDuel odds, injury reports, and live box scores.
→Sportsbook Prefs — check the books you have accounts with. The default book pre-fills in the log modal.
→Data section — export your full bet history as CSV, clear all bets, or reset to defaults.

Edge %How much better your odds are vs. the true probability. Higher = more profitable.

KellyA staking formula that sizes bets proportionally to your edge to maximize bankroll growth.

CLVClosing Line Value — did you get better odds than the final market price? CLV+ = skilled bettor.

No-VigThe "true" odds after removing the sportsbook's built-in margin (the vig or juice).

SharpProfessional bettors whose action moves lines. Sharp money signals indicate where smart money is going.

ROIReturn on Investment — net profit divided by total amount wagered, expressed as a percentage.

Strike Zone

Overview

Strike Zone is the MLB props engine inside Edge Terminal. It connects to the Ball Don't Lie MLB-Stats API and generates edges for Over/Under player props in real time. Each row shows a player, prop type, model prediction, current line, edge %, and a confidence rating. Use the LOG button on any row to send a bet directly into the Bet Tracker pre-tagged as ⚾ MLB.

Active Models & Backtest Results

Hits Model

+18.9% ROI (backtest)

Blends pitcher matchup quality, park factor, platoon split, and recent contact rate. The strongest model in the suite — consistently beats the market line at edges above +6%.

Total Runs Model

+4.5% ROI (backtest)

Uses starting pitchers' ERA+, team ISO, and weather/park adjustments. Positive edge at high-confidence thresholds but smaller sample. Best used alongside the game total from sportsbooks.

Strikeouts Model

Negative ROI — use with caution

Predicts pitcher K totals from K/9, opponent K% and handedness splits. Backtest showed the market is already highly efficient on this line. Only bet when edge exceeds +10%.

Total Bases Model

Inverse-predictive (fade signal)

When the model projects extreme Over on total bases, actual outcomes trend Under in backtests — likely due to regression of hot-streak inputs. The raw model edge can be inverted as a fade indicator. Marked as experimental in the UI.

Confidence Rating Guide

A+Elite edge — model strongly disagrees with the market. Bet full unit.

AHigh confidence — solid edge above +5%. Standard unit recommended.

BModerate edge — worth a half unit or monitor for line movement.

CMarginal — edge exists but below the reliable threshold. Informational only.

Workflow

Navigate to Strike Zone from the sidebar.
Select a game date — today's games load automatically.
Filter by prop type (Hits, Total Bases, Strikeouts) using the tab bar.
Review edges — sort by Edge % to surface the strongest plays.
Click LOG on a row to pre-fill the bet modal. The sport is set to MLB automatically.
Confirm the bet — it lands in Bet Tracker tagged as ⚾ MLB.
Check the MLB tab in Analytics to track backtest ROI vs live performance over time.
